Only the development and implementation of reliable security standards will help ensure the continued growth of blockchain. As a member of the Blockchain Security Standards Council, you’ll be able to:
- Contribute to the security standards that will help defend blockchain-based technologies from malevolent players.
- Learn how to build effective risk management and security best practices into your apps from the ground up.
- Network with key players in the blockchain industry, from market leaders to industry start-ups.
Membership tiers
We have three membership levels available.
Charter members
- Annual dues: USD $50K.
- May appoint a representative to the board of directors.
- All contributor member and general member privileges.
- Charter membership subject to Board-defined criteria and industry balance considerations.
Contributor members
- Annual dues: USD $15K.
- Full participation in BSSC’s technical track, where its standards and audit frameworks are developed and maintained.
- Propose additional work topics to the BSSC board.
- All general member privileges.
General members
- Annual dues: FREE.
- Have early access to review and comment on stable drafts of BSSC’s standards before they are released publicly.
